Paul
Groesbeck has been the Executive Director of The Life Foundation, Hawaii's first AIDS
organization, founded in 1983, since 1992. The Life Foundation continues to work hard in
the fight against AIDS, in Educating, and in helping HIV positive people survive. For more
info call 521-AIDS.
Miha Reyes has been involved in fundraising and community service
organizations for the past 25 years. She currently works with the Imperial Court, as
Golden Empress IX and the Gay & Lesbian Community Center as Board of Director and Head
Volunteer Coordinator.
Jack Law is a proud kama`aina, calling Hawai`i home since 1966. Partnering
with Eaton "Bob" Magoon Jr., Jack launched Hula's Bar & Lei Stand in July
1974. In 1983, Jack helped to found the Life Foundation, in 1990, Jack produced the first
annual Adam Baran Honolulu Gay Film Festival, and in 1994, Governor John Waihe`e nominated
Jack to be a Commissioner with the Hawai`i Civil Rights Commission, which his current term
lasts through June 30, 2002. |

Kai is a
dancer with the Sensually Certified Male Revue. He can be seen performing at Venus
Nightclub, Hula's, and P10A. He is available for dancing & modeling and may be

Eric Nakayama is/has been manager of 80% Straight, one of the longest running
gay owned and operated business in Hawaii, since 1986. 80% Straight is open daily at 10am
and specializes in Active Wear, Swim Wear, T-Shirts, Magazines, Videos, Greeting Cards,
Adult Novelties, and much more!
Jim Houghton and Rick Contreras, owners of Angles Waikiki, moved to Hawaii 12
years ago, from California, where they had extensive experience in the nightclub industry.
They opened Angles Waikiki 5 years ago and with the help of a great and supportive staff
and loyal customers have been able to be a success. They will soon be opening Angles Bar
& Grill, restaurant and lounge, as a new addition to our community.
Chris Buffum has been a bartender at Fusion Waikiki for 6 years. You can catch
him tending bar Wednesday-Sunday from 9pm-4am. Born and raised in Hawaii, Chris is also
attending UH for a Business Degree.
Aiko is the owner and producer of "A Taste of Honey" show at Venus
Nightclub on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month. She is also a former crown holder
title of "Miss Turnabout," "Miss Venus Hawaii," "Universal Show
Queen," Island Goddess," and "Queen of Hearts." |

and Nancy Gillespie are active steering committee members of the Civil Unions - Civil
Rights Movement, they completed the entire 110 mile March for Equality, lobby for hate
crimes legislation, and fight the homophobic forces of evil (aka the Gabbards). Nancy has
been the reigning Ms. Gay Pride Hawaii 2000. They also own and operate Define Normal

Freddie Jordan
is owner and publisher of Odyssey Magazine Hawaii. He is also the writer of the widely
read column "The Mouth." He can be seen (and hzeard!) around town emceeing
various shows and events, as he has for the past 11 years.
